Statewide Search For Suspect: Man Assaulted, Intentionally Run Over, Police Say

Police across Connecticut are searching for a silver Infiniti after it allegedly ran over a man intentionally following an assault.

The incident took place around 1 p.m., Thursday, April 11 in the area of 85 Laura St., in New Haven.

The injured man was found when New Haven firefighters and A.M.R. were dispatched to Laura Street for a medical call, said Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police Department.

Upon arrival, they found a man who had been intentionally assaulted and run over by a silver motor vehicle, Dell said.

The victim was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital with serious injuries.

The New Haven Police Department is investigating the incident and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect vehicle. Dell said the vehicle is described as being a silver Infiniti.
